If you have snapped your key, you may not need to replace the lock, even if it is your only key. We carry specialist equipment to remove the broken piece of key, we can then cut a replacement from the broken pieces. Alternatively we can replace the lock and supply a new set of keys.

UPVC door locks are very problematic, mechanism made from aluminum and that a weak steel; like wooden doors they can contract, expand or drop and the locking mechanism can fail. Dave Locksmiths can sort out all of these problems and if necessary replace the multi-locking point system.
If your cylinder rim lock (Yale locks) is beyond repair then it is usually possible to replace just the barrel, this is cheaper than replacing the whole lock.
